This is not a good story, there is a massive absence of tension and drama and an abundance of jokes that don't quite hit the mark. The performances, other than Tennant and Grace sounded like they were bored stiff. Billie Piper is just there for the cheque and not up to Tates level last year.
If the aliens had to obey a superior life form then just tell them to turn the bombs off. No need for a sword fight and sticking a sword in a computer. Just not a very well thought out story at all

Possibly the worst of Blakes 7 in the last 40 years.

Another religious zealot, another mysterious voice speaking to Callys mind etc etc.

Nothing new to offer and nothing new to say. Jan Chappell turns in a terrible performance. Some scenes, like when she was being attacked and drained by the cave monster were just an endurance test to listen to. If that's what the director thought was the best take then I shudder to think what the others were like.

This offers nothing to the overall plot of the box set. Avoid avoid avoid.

There was a time when a story from John Dorney would be assumed to be great. You'd expect humour and dram and excitement. The last few stories however have fallen short of the mark with this being his weakest yet.

Ridiculous plot, poor characters and unlikely scenarios. Plus this release features possibly one of the top ten worst performances in a BF release. Kate Duchene As Regina was awful, pure and simple. Nothing to redeem it. She dragged down every scen, hell the whole story. She was a massive part of why this story failed.

Would have been a higher score but Paul Chahidi Miranda Raison give truly terrible, clichéd performances. It doesn't help they have to spout equally clichéd attempts at Shakespearen dialogue. Other than those two I enjoyed this release thoroughly
