'Tempest' brings us a fantastic, and wonderfully creative villain in the form of....wind. Oh wait, it's not fantastic or wonderful: it's stupid and holds no tension whatsoever.
The villain in this one is probably the worst villain I've ever seen. It's the wind. The bloody wind. It's not even doing much malevolent, just causing storms, occasionally going sucky, and speaking a tiny bit. That's meant to be a villain?
The main issue with this story that I had is side characters. The story has two of the most annoying side characters I've ever heard on audio: an old woman in a hut, and a man on an oil rig. The woman just has a very annoying voice and personality, and the man is written so stupidly and literally just put there to serve as a half villain for the story when the writer realised their main one was a bit crap.
The plot is also abominable and intensely boring, the story is only around 45 minutes (presumably due to lack of sufficient ideas to make it an hour) yet feels like it's a lot longer. The whole unit team makes incredibly stupid choices and overall just didn't impress me at all.
Overall, a boring, untense, and villainless story. 2/10
