Spoilers.

Easily the dullest finale in the history of new Who.
The fact that everything that happened in this story is all a result of how useless this doctor is, is basically glossed over. The planets are returned but i am guessing everyone on them is dead. Jodie just wants everyone to get along. Still cant imagine her coming up against any decent villain. She will probably just want a chat and apologise to them.
Main villain gets a monologue or 2 and then shot in the foot and locked in a cupboard. Thrilling stuff there.
The Ux have amazing powers but have to be the stupidest people in the universe.
It speaks volumes that Graham is probably the only one of the 4 that really has anything that resembles a personality. Would anyone really travel through space and time with people as boring and expressionless as Yaz and Ryan. Bill and Nardole should really have been kept over!
I really hope everyone who wanted Moffat to go are holding their heads in shame now.

Spoilers!

In some ways its my fav script of the series (up with Kerblam) although still kinda average by other series standards. I like the strangeness of this story as it seems v v v different to anything else offered this year. I even liked the idea of the Solitract and its motives. However again there are issues with apparent lack of script editing and production values. I think everyone found the frog on the ikea chair risible and there was a couple of times the plot was revealed just by the doctor suddenly having the knowledge. I think that if this was Moffat or RTD this would have been amazing cameo time for the fans such as the Doctor seeing River Song or even his "mother" from End of time. Bit of a wasted opportunity and the frog just looked stupid. Good point was that there was an attempt to flesh out the characters or Ryan and Graham by reminding us of their loss and relationship as well as Ryans own father issues. Bad point being that the father just hugs his daughter and all is forgiven :(

Aliens with super technology who travel to 20th century India to do nothing but mourn the dead. Thats a very exciting brief already. And then we get a story about someone who wants to ruin a last minute wedding that no one else seems to give a toss about.
Truly exciting stuff
The episode looks great though! Jamie Childs is really the only great director this series as far as im concerned.

This is the best script of the current series by far and really could have been quite great if it were not directed like a bland childrens show. The productions looks cheap and the direction is lazy. The robots could have actually been quite creepy but they mostly just come across a little dorky. This really should have been quite a dark and quirky episode but let down by production. At least all 4 regs each finally got to do something!
