This was a great story but I was a bit let down by the ending

*Spoilers*
I was expecting a conclusion in the style of Vincent and the Doctor, where they couldn't change his fate but still bettered his life. Although this outcome is very Seven-y, it feels a bit empty as a result

This is Joshua Wanisko's first entry into the Doctor Who universe and for a first story it was so incredible i decided to make an account on this site just so i could tell everyone how wonderful this story is.

It is clear that Joshua has a deep love for Doctor Who as he writes for the Seventh Doctor and Ace so well as he is very familiar with the
characters and knows how to write for them.

The story is essentially a redemption story but without spoiling too much it doesn't go exactly how you'd expect it to, this story really got me thinking and in my eyes that is exactly what a good Doctor Who story should do.

A very solid first foray into Doctor Who for writer Joshua Wanisko. The Doctor gives so many villains a chance to change their ways. This story is about one that does. A moving, profound, and interesting character piece that's one of the outstanding short trips of 2016.

Quality piece of work from a fan who has a clear and present love for Doctor Who. I hope we see the name Joshua Wanisko more often in future.
