The Doctor takes Lucie back to 2008 but they quickly discovers something's not right as the town appears to be stuck in September 1991. And something is odd about the villagers and it's not just that Bryan Adams has the most popular song around.

This is a very innovative tale both in the way it builds up the mystery and also portrays one of Doctor Who's most memorable lesser villains. With all the innovation and enjoyment in this episode, the end was a bit routine, but still this has some great performances and the plot has some original and intelligent twists.

Jonathan Clements' Brave New Town is a very interesting story using the Autons as the villains in a rare event. The classic silent Autons are used minimally with most of them being sleeper agents who think they're human beings. It is slow in the beginning which is its major problem but still has an interesting idea of a town that time forgot.

Very enjoyable story with shades of The Android Invasion at the beginning. As the mystery unfolds your in for a entertaining story with some old faces putting in an appearance...
