Revolution of the Daleks was the 2021 New Year Special of Doctor Who. It featured the return of Jack Harkness, and marked the Thirteenth Doctor's reunion with her companions, following the events of The Timeless Children.

Continuing the Recon Dalek storyline begun in Resolution, a new line of Daleks were introduced, cloned from a remnant of the original recon scout.

With the Thirteenth Doctor doing time in prison, her friends are missing her and desperate for clues of her whereabouts. As an old enemy begins to use evidence of the Daleks for his own gain, it will take more than just the appearance of Captain Jack Harkness to get the fam back together and save the world before maximum extermination.
