Unlike the previous stories of this set, Solus utilises the full cast. They have smaller parts each, but more important ones.

The episode raises ethical questions and explores character backgrounds. Daina has her chance at revenge, but must choose to sacrifice this to save lives. Villa has a chance to make a sacrifice play while Avon is engaged in a logic battle that tests his mental stamina and leaves the audience wondering just what he would risk to win. In the heart of it all is Servalan, who creates an electronic duplicate of her mind and then must battle against herself knowing the other won't let her live.

This is easily the best story of the set and well worth listening to.
