The characters make this worthwhile. The interactions between River Song and the Sixth and Seventh are very fun, particularly with the strong romance between Six and River continuing from the previous release. The Seventh Doctor has some interesting scenes, the best of which is the scene in which they have tea at the end of the story. Overall these interactions bring some character moments, and some good comedy. Also, the store being set in 1703 allows Daniel DeFoe to appear.

The plot is all over the place. The story grows convoluted in explaining what's responsible for the destruction of the Earth in the Future. The best part of the final plot is that the Sixth and Seventh Doctor's styles are contrasted. And I'm still at a lost to explain what happened to two key characters.

There are some really fun moments and great interactions that make this a delight for fans of New and Classic Who, but the story itself is too hard to follow.
