A great example of just how engaging Torchwood is in its audio form. An interesting premise with distinct enough parts to keep your attention for the long run, and some fantastic acting.

It's a shame Gwen takes a bit of a back seat in part two, but the return of Samuel Barnett as Norton Folgate is a gift that makes up for it, and between him and PC Andy, there are more than a few laugh out loud moments throughout. There's a chance to learn a little more about a period in Jack's past, and a chance for Gareth David-Lloyd to get something to sink his teeth into. As Ianto he really shines in audio with the smaller team in a way he didn't get much time to on television. Great production and sound effects add a few truly skin crawling moments, and there's some great writing to pique the imagination.

The few productions with the whole team together are a joy, and this is about as entertaining as they come.
