Litefoot gets a job teaching adolescent school girls sex education, and Jago gets the job as the janitor, in a school that appears to have a vampire in it's midst. Add to this the reason that the school is taking on more staff is down to the fact that staff are either disappearing or dying it would appear that something strange is happening at the school. There is a teacher called Mr Raverner, who is a sinister, eccentric, but is this light sensitive, individual a vampire, that is using the students as a sort of blood bank. When J&L and Ellie who is bought in, to assist, with her obvious relationship to the dark world of the blood thirsty. The question is why are the vampire's attacking both students and teachers, or is this the work of two different culprits. This is one of the stories in this quartet of tales, that is building the stage for the final. Morris as written a good filler story here, with, elements all being pulled together loosely for the grand reveal, in the Warm Blood finale story. However, I do love the idea that we have a vampire element in play, and what the hell is Ellie getting tied up in all of the goings on. Morris as dangled enough interest to whet the appetite of the listener to start to ask questions over Ellie, and Ravener, and of course the "old one". Benjamin and Baxter have hit there speed now, along with the wonderful almost Alan Rickman-esque way that Ronan Vibert plays the part, it reminds me of the Harry Potter part, probably due to the setting of a school. What ever the situation, and circumstances, this is a cracking prelude to the final episode.

Professor Litefoot goes undercover at a girl's school based on a hint and discovers a large number of mysterious deaths have occurred. There are clear hints of ongoing vampiric activity as Ravener is about and the girls all seem to be hiding mysterious wounds. The story manages to mix in humor with a very sinister feel to the school, and features an action-packed climax which sets the stage for the final act.
