A copy of the Doctor's mind exist on the world of the Savages, but Steven doesn't trust it and tells his granddaughter why by telling how the Doctor met Benjamin Franklin in England in the 1760s. The historical aspect of the story is fun with some great ideas including Benjamin Franklin ending up in the TARDIS. The framing story is also engaging with it clear that Stephen has mixed feelings about this simulated version of the Doctor but the link between the two is a bit tenuous. Still, this third party is enjoyable.
