While the premise of a chronobomb is interested I found this story to be a convoluted mess. The listener is as much in the dark as The Doctor as he tries to sort out events as they are conspiring without having any knowledge of how he got into the middle of things. It's an ambitious story for sure but not all experiments are successful.

The Doctor finds himself in the middle of an adventure with no idea how he got there. He's got to find his bearings and save the day. The concept keeps this story moving at a breakneck pace in a very engaging way. It'sold in st well-acted with Colin Baker and the entire cast doing a great job keeping track of where they are in the story. Despite the centrality of time displacement, it doesn't change the story for the Doctor. It just keeps it entertaining, rather than impacting events.

Chaos - utilities out of time flashbacks to construct a complex drama. Again, cast give an effortless performance. The story itself is solid Dr Who fair. But again, I felt that unlike the other stories in this group of work, this one trotted along at a much more rapid pace. You as the listener almost needing to work backwards in the drama to understand and find out what the outcome of the “Chronobomb” is,
I have given this a rating mainly on it production, and the effortless way Colin uses the script to his best abilities. In fact Colin makes the complex idea of out of time easier to listen to than you would first think.
