I love Doctor Who, the Fourth Doctor, and I also love superheroes and Superhero parodies. Given that, you'd think I'd love Starfall. Sadly, that's not the case. Starfall's idea isn't bad but the execution is awful and Audio Go's Doctor Who audios lack of sound effects come into play here. In addition, all the regulars, including the Doctor, Mike Yates, and Mrs. Wibbsey take a backseat to British actors doing fair-to-poor American accents..

To be clear, the accents aren't wrethedly back like in Big Finish's Minuet in Hell and there are a few smile-inducing moments as our narrator gives us comic book enthusiasm with Stan Leeish references to "true believers," but in the end this story misses the mark as it tries to be funny and mostly fails.

Another release, another style. We're getting so close to full cast drama. Like the supporting cast again. The only frustration is that each release you play 'who's the demon?' only for the demon to leave. Still good fun and the one I will rush to hear again.

It was a great take on old comic books. A definite nod goes out to Paul Magrs for a great story...
