Synopsis
Straight out of drama school, actress Nicola Bryant won the part of Peri Brown in the BBC drama Doctor Who. Nicola played first opposite Peter Davison and then Colin Baker, following the character's regeneration.
The fourth adventure in Doctor Who's 22nd Season, The Two Doctors featured the return of actors Patrick Troughton and Frazer Hines, reprising their roles as the Second Doctor and his companion Jamie. Written by fan-favourite Robert Holmes, the story was set primarily in Seville, Spain, and was filmed in August, 1984.
In 2005, Nicola was invited to join a group of fans from the USA on a trip to revisit many of the locations used in The Two Doctors. Accompanied by a cameraman and a local guide, Nicola and the fans expected a straightforward trip around the city. Instead they encountered more than they had bargained for.
Featuring all-new interviews with Colin Baker and Frazer Hines, location reports and a surprise or two along the way, In the Footsteps of The Two Doctors brings to life some of the stories of how one of the favourite adventures in Doctor Who history was made.
