Synopsis
To a wider audience, Trevor is possibly best known for playing The Doctor at the Adelphi Theatre in Doctor Who and The Daleks in Seven Keys to Doomsday (1974). The play was very well received, but fell foul of the ongoing IRA bombing campaign in London. At the time, parents were, understandably, reluctant to bring children into Central London.
Previously, Trevor had appeared in Doctor Who, the television series, as a Time Lord alongside Patrick Troughton in The War Games (1969) and later appeared in the BBC Radio Doctor Who play The Paradise of Death (1993) with Jon Pertwee.
Trevor returned to Doctor Who yet again, working this time with Sylvester McCoy for Big Finish in the audio drama Flip-Flop (2003) and later, again for Big Finish, he recreated his version of The Doctor in an audio version of The Seven Keys to Doomsday (2008).
This Myth Makers was recorded around the Doctor Who Appreciation Society event The Capitol in 2016. It includes a panel with actress Charlie Hayes and writer Terrance Dicks.
