Location : Gallifrey and planet of Bexar
Date : Multiple

This is a win, win, win!

Win #1) Written by and performed by Colin Baker. We get to see what he thinks a Doctor Who story should be. And he nailed it perfectly.

Win #2) Music in this was insanely perfect and enjoyable.

Win #3) A very appropriate story for Doctor Who as it addresses exactly how much a time lord should meddle. All with the sense of humor that makes real who grand.

This could have been very difficult for anyone other than Colin Baker to read and that is evidenced in the first three minutes. The story deals with time meddling and just where the line is drawn. Such as, what does the Doctor do if he finds out that he accidentally changed history. Can he then go back and fix what he changed and undo the meddling? A really funny and complex tale complete with a mans pants falling down which ended up causing the destruction of a planet. Drones, a volcano, a bike, mirrors, trousers and parachutes being made at the same factory, a stolen car, a near truck wreck - all of these things come into play. At one point the Doctor goes back 30 years to plant a tree that will grow and block the view of the TARDIS to prevent changing time.

If Colin Baker ever writes and performs another story I will be first in line to order it.

Colin Baker story and read by Colin as well, it is a rather mournful tale that seems to concern itself more for me in the art of misdirection that it does in the process of telling a story, but, this aside I did appreciate listening to good old No.6 making an appearance as the time lord himself

This was probably the one Short trip I've been looking forward to hearing. A Doctor Who story written by the actor who plays the Doctor. Overall, this is a light and really fun piece that deals with the issue of causation as the Doctor discovers that a man's trousers falling caused a planet to fall as well. Some nice twists in a very comedic Doctor Who tale, marvelously performed and delightfully written by Colin Baker.

This is a cute and fluffy little piece of nonsense that was originally published in a fanthology, way back in the "Wilderness Years." I think I liked it better then, for the simple reason that it was a quick, amusing read and didn't wear out its welcome. Here, the various causes-and-effects take too long in the telling - it all just becomes a shaggy dog story, which is basically the point, but in my opinion it gets just a touch annoying. That said, the story is expertly read by the author, Colin Baker, who certainly has a flair for the English language and is adept at characterizing his own Doctor!
