A nice little intimate tale that shows us more about Barbara and her view of life on the Ship, with the Doctor and Susan. Very much a character piece, the dynamics of this TARDIS team are highlighted and the payoff is something special indeed. For $2.99 it's something you can't miss if you're a fan of the early years of Doctor Who.

This short trip takes us back to the original TARDIS team and offers an emotional exploration of life in the TARDIS and what it was like for Barbara dealing with both the timeless nature of life in the TARDIS with Barbara trying to keep track of time but being unable to, and also missing her family.

At the same time, the story doesn't dwell in the dumps as the Doctor is on a quest and this ultimately leads to a primitive tribe on a far-off world who hold a seemingly magical secret the Doctor wants. This story is delightful and charming. It plumbs a little more depth to a much-beloved TARDIS team. It's helped by Carole Ann Ford's superb reading. Overall, one of my favorite Short Trips this year.
