This story is set sometime after, "Revelation of the Daleks," and the events of the Season 22. In it, Peri and the Doctor arrive on a spaceship casino where some people appear confused. Overall, there's a very interesting mystery as to why Peri is seeing someone who looks like her stepfather but the resolution is lacking. The temporarl mystery is okay but nothing special.

The story tries to explore the idea of the Sixth Doctor as a sort of abusive boyfriend, a theme that's always a bit awkward and been handled better than it is here. Nicola Bryant makes this production worth listening to as her turn as Peri expressing her honest feelings to the Doctor is powerfully done even though the Doctor is portrayed as indifferent.

Conceptually it was an interesting story. I love a little temporal complexity. But it wasn't executed that great and it kind of falls flat at the end.
