A wonderful character piece rounding off the first box set. It's a three hander which explores a simple but intriguing premise. The actors deliver a demanding script with aplomb. I'll be honest writer Scott Handcock has always struck me as a capable writer, but this script really shows his ability to produce exceptional dialogue.

The conclusion is chilling both in its inevitability and in its cold blooded execution.

Stunning.

Eric Saward is spectacular in his failure to be Douglas Adams.

The excellent cast try their best with the lacklustre script. Pity really as Colin & Nicola are always good value.

Not a review as such, just a fond memory. This series has my first ever memory of Doctor Who. After seeing episode two I wouldnt walk past a Post Office engineers tent placed over a manhole in the pavement as I knew the Master was inside. My mum still remembers it as well & it was over 40 years ago.

Great story. Amazing colour restoration.

The period feel of this is beautifully realized. The music & sound design really captures the feel of the soundtrack of a mid sixties TV show. A cross between Danger-Man, The Saint and The Avengers. Big Finish have proved Monochrome really does have a sound. Excellent job. Story & acting are both very good. I hope the rest of the series at least continues this standard. I was looking forward to this when it was announced, I have not been disappointed.
