Across the Darkened City....

Wow! Just Wow! This is something else! This is Special, This is just Awesomely Stupendous!
BF, Peter Purves, Nicholas Briggs, Helen Goldwyn & David Bartlett 10/10.

On a whole Absolutely Stunning!

One of the finest pieces if not THE BEST Dr WHO/BF ever! And for 1 Major reason. For a whole two parter, all 1hr 23, it is the most intimate Dalek story ever. By Intimate I mean its btwn Steven Taylor, Dalek 210 and the listener, I think that's what draws you into that "Zone" even more than the likes of Jubilee etc.. Sure we have the Chaons but for the most part it is only the 3 of us, and the intimacy of the situations we find ourselves in while listening, and that's just outstanding credit to Peter Purves, Nicholas Briggs, David Bartlett and Helen Goldywn on their part. Yes its a 100/10 for me.

A simply Brilliant historical with twists and turns a foot. Superb performance's from all the Actors/Actresses with Peter Purves's 1st Doctor absolutely Stunning, I in all honesty forgot that it was Peter Purves acting, that's how brilliant he was.
Loving all these Early adventure releases especially historical s or part one's at least as well as the extras like the period incidental music and the actors interviews.
