A strong companion chronicle that enhances its era. The story told is interesting with a moral dilemma for Zoe, and the framing sequence, showing her post doctor life is threatened by those who would exploit her buried knowledge of time travel, really works. Excellent- bring on the resolution of this!

How odd that you can be fascinated by the story of older Zoe but not be overly fussed by the story from the past she has to tell. I appreciate you can't have one without the other, but our narrator is a wonderful character, I can't wait to hear more from her.
