Once more, the spirit of the original television show is recreated - even more convincingly here than in the first release - in Gary Russell's 'The Deadliest Species' (which might be subtitled, 'How to Wind Up TP fans').

I really like this. Nicholas Young has a much more convincing take on John, and the rest of the cast gel together as a convincing team.
Returnee Peter Vaughn Clarke breaks the prime barrier, and kills people - something Tomorrow People have always been unable to do. His delivery is occasionally flat, but PVC plays the part of Stephen's inner turmoil well.
Ex-Dalek Roy Skelton plays the Sorsons - on television, THE most improbable race of aliens you will ever see. But they are written here as semi-comedic characters anyway, which works in their favour.
Lisa Bowerman is exceptional as the doomed Hollos, and as a whole, this tale makes much better use of the audio medium than 'The New Gods' did.
